Description
The Bush Terminal piers were very busy during the first half of the 1900s. But by the 1960s there was little business and a fire burned all the wood away from this pier leaving the metal frame work. The fire caused metal "fatigue" - where the otherwise strong metal becomes weak and bends. Today a waterfront park is on this location.
