cemetery was organized in 1838. In the late 1800's
a half a million people a year visited it as a tourist
attraction. It was second only to Niagara Falls.
478 acres of rolling hills, spectacular sculptures and
mausoleums. Over a half million people are
buried here. Many are very famous in the
history of the United States.
